Our Amazing Seven Step Career Prep!

1. As Team Members reach the middle phase of the program, they become eligible for externship. At this point Coaches will begin to meet daily and assess team members to determine who is training “ready”, meaning they have progressed enough for safe placement at an office for clinical externship.

2. Once Team Members are chosen for the day, this information will be relayed to our Careers Team. Then a text message announcing who is training “ready” is sent out by the Careers Team, to notify the Team Members they have been selected (Yay!) and make sure they are prepared to answer any calls coming from their new home or coaches!

3. The Careers Teams will now begin our externship search and seek to pair you with an office that has a high potential of providing you employment once you graduate! During this process they will be there to guide you and answer any questions until you are with your New Dental Home.

4. We know starting at a dental office will be new, so we stay with you the entire way. Prior to Starting Your First Working Day The Coaching Team will Thoroughly Prepare you for your new home, this is done through one-on-one sessions to ensure maximum effectiveness and allow you to speak openly.

5. Now that you have confidently crushed your first interview – it’s time to show your skills! We help guide you throughout the externship process to ensure your truly at ease. Weekly assessment reports from your externship office are reviewed and ensure you are on the path to gainful employment.

6. At the half way point of your externship, our Careers Team will reach out to the office and try to confirm with the Dental Office that they are still on track to hire our amazing team member(YOU!).

7. Upon completion of the externship, It’s now time to formally secure your position as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant and start a rewarding Career you have achieved in only 90 Days! At this point, we always recommend a large pat on the back. It’s time for graduation
